Williams Event Management withdraws immediately!
Last month, Williams Event Management (WEM) announced it would retire as promoter of the Australian Motocross Championship after 23 seasons. Last week, WEM, in collaboration with Motorcycling Australia (MA), announced in a press conference that it would immediately pull the plug. There is therefore a very good chance that no championship will be held this season.
The MXstore MX Nationals should start at the Connondale circuit on the weekend of August 9, but this is still unclear due to the government's constant adjustment of the rules. This means that there will probably not be an audience present and that is why WEM has decided to stop their work immediately.
