Technique: This is how you replace the fuel filter on a Honda CRF
Many parts on a dirt bike are subject to wear and tear and must be replaced periodically. This certainly applies to the fuel filter because it is essential for a properly running engine. In engines equipped with fuel injection, the fuel circuit must be kept under constant pressure up to the injector. You understand that a properly functioning fuel filter is very important.
In the video you can see an example of the replacement on a Honda CRF450R/RX. The filter element is located in the fuel tank. The tank must be removed from the engine and must also be emptied before the fuel pump is removed. You can purchase a replacement set with a new fuel filter and some O-rings from your motocross dealer. Always replace it, even if you see no damage. Good luck.
