BMW fits for Intermot and EICMA!
BMW Motorrad announced earlier this weekend that they will not participate in the two most important motorcycle shows in the world: the INTERMOT in Cologne in October and the EICMA in Milan in November. New models and major motorsport news are presented every year at these fairs.
BMW said it wanted to avoid uncertainty surrounding the planning of the shows. It is understandable that, given the circumstances, one of the two fairs that take place very close to each other, INTERMOT from October 6 to 11 and EICMA from November 3 to 8, has been canceled. It is a surprise that BMW even skips the introduction “for its own audience” in Cologne.
Naturally, BMW's cancellation is a blow for the organizers and the public. The key question, of course, is whether other brands will follow BMW's example.
