WESS: No Trèfle this year, Lagares moved!
Given the developments regarding COVID-19 and the uncertainty regarding the duration of the containment period, Moto Club Lozèrien just announced the cancellation of the 34th edition of the AMV Trèfle Lozerien. This was scheduled from May 21 to 23, 2020.
A very difficult decision for the club. Given the complexity of a multi-day international enduro, it was not easy to simply move the 2nd WESS round. September was a possible option but proved difficult to fit into the calendar. October is risky given the weather, while postponement until June unfortunately does not guarantee normal proceedings. Waiting longer to perhaps organize in May was certainly not an option.
Ultimately, the club decided to cancel, so that the 2021th anniversary of the Trèfle can be celebrated with fresh courage in 35. Fortunately, the opening match of the WESS series, Extreme XL Lagares, could be rescheduled. Instead of May 8 to 10, the Portuguese classic will now take place in October.
