Billy Bolt is the 2020 SuperEnduro World Champion!
Following the postponement of the SuperEnduro final in Lodz, Poland (last weekend), the FIM, promoter ABC Communication and the Polish organizer “Sport Up”, have decided to cancel the season finale of SuperEnduro 2020. This also effectively concludes the championship, after the previous race in Hungary. Billy Bolt was also declared the new SuperEnduro World Champion!
Although Bolt won the championship, the outcome leaves a bitter aftertaste. The popular British Husqvarna rider had to bow his head only once to SuperEnduro legend Taddy Blazusiak (Red Bull KTM) in the four races that did take place. The overwearable Pole ultimately finishes second ahead of Jonny Walker and Alfredo Gomez.
Teodor Kabachiev (BG – KTM) is crowned world champion in the junior class. A bitter pill for American star Ty Cullins (TM Racing) who had traveled to Europe but could not defend his chances.
