Austin Forkner ends his title chances with victory
The first Triple-Crown of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship 250SX West has been won by Austin Forkner. The Pro Circuit rider managed to win two of the three 'Main Events', the third and final one was won by Justin Cooper. It is an important victory for Forkner because it keeps him in the title fight. Despite a tough evening for Cooper (17-9-1), the Yamaha rider remains the leader in the standings, just three points behind teammate Dylan Ferrandis! The Frenchman finishes second in Glendale ahead of Michael Mosiman who manages to score his first Supercross podium.
