Jens Getteman second in New Zealand
The two-day Whakatane Summercross near Matata is not a well-known race for us, but this time there was a Belgian on the list of participants, Jens Getteman. Five series were on the menu in New Zealand. The Belgian finished second in the first four races and was eventually able to win the last race. Kayne Lamont won the final ranking.
Getteman about the match: “It was good to win the last series. I had some difficulty with the first four series... those sprint races are very different from what we are used to in Europe. But in the end it was pure fun. I know I'll be a little better in a longer race.”
