Monster Energy and Kawasaki Racing Team renew their partnership!
Monster Energy has been the team's main partner since 2014 and even after a season with many injuries, the American company extended its contract for the future. Both Romain Febvre and Clément Desalle have been Monster athletes for a long time and have achieved great results in recent seasons with fifteen Grand Prix victories and thirty heat victories. Next season they will be teammates for the first time in their careers and will combine their experience and efforts to provide the team with the best results.
Mitch Covington (Monster Energy Vice President of Sports Marketing): “We are excited to be working again with our long-term partner KRT. It was a difficult year with injuries, but it happens. Unfortunately, it's part of the sport when you have riders who are passionate about the sport and really do what it takes to win. We have been involved in sports for a long time and we understand that. We hope for an injury-free season next year. We are very excited for Romain to remain in the Monster family. Moving from one Monster team to another should be a very smooth transition. Romain has long been a champion for our brand and we wish him the best in his new team. It is a very strong team with Romain and Clément. We have two of the most experienced riders in the series, both are very fast and we have high expectations for both.”
Thierry Chizat Suzzoni (KRT team owner): “We have been working with Monster Energy since 2014 and we are very happy to continue with such a renowned partner who has a very strong image in motorsport. It is a very long-standing partner that follows us with great loyalty, even in difficult periods such as we had this season. We are currently preparing Clément and Romain, who have been Monster athletes for many years, for next season. Every day we work hard to get ready for 2020, we expect a great season."
