Drama Sydow, Hofer takes the ADAC Youngster Cup!
Jeremy Sydow's nine-point lead over Rene Hofer appears not to be enough for the title. The Husqvarna rider makes the best start in the first moto, but disaster strikes on the first lap. A stone gets between the sprocket and the chain, destroying the engine! The result is a dropout and no points while Hofer (photo) wins the first round! Hofer wins the second round ahead of Michael Sandner and Hofer takes the title. In addition to Hofer (1-3) and Sandner (2-2), Lion Florian (3-4) is on the podium. Cyril Genot did not play, he played in his own country but remains fourth in the championship.
