Shoulder injury for Cedric Grobben
Despite an injury to his right shoulder that he sustained on Saturday, Cedric Grobben helped his team to victory in the 12 hours of La Chinelle yesterday. It was Grobben's first participation in Belgium's most famous enduro competition.
During a consultation in the hospital today, more information emerged about the nature of his injury. It concerns a fracture in the shoulder head. That fracture was clearly visible in the photos. “There is a small fracture on top of the ball of the shoulder. A tendon runs over that and because of the fracture, that tendon became clamped all the time," says Grobben.
It is not yet certain how long the NR83 KTM rider will be out of action. MXMag wishes Cedric a speedy recovery!
