Gwerder makes up points, Everts misses the podium
In Gaildorf, Mike Gwerder made up some points in the battle for the ADAC Junior Cup 125cc. The Austrian managed to win the fifth match of the season. The KTM rider finished first and second on the 'Auf der Wacht' circuit, which is where he stayed Simon Längenfelder (4-1) and Camden Mclellan (2-3) ahead. Liam Everts showed up strongly, the Belgian finished fourth in the day's rankings.
The sixth and final race of this championship will be held on September 14-15 at the Holzgerlingen circuit. Längenfelder has a lead of 22 points over Gwerder.
