The differences are small in the Australian Nationals
Kirk Gibbs won the third race of the Pirelli Australian MX Nationals in Broadford. The Yamaha rider won the MX1 race with a second and first place ahead of Todd Waters (1-2) and Luke Clout (4-3). Despite missing a podium place, Hayden Mellross remains the leader in the standings. The differences are minimal because Waters is fourth and has only nine points less than the leader! In the MX2, Wilson Todd won both motos. Todd won ahead of Kyle Webster (3-2) and Jay Wilson (4-3). In the standings, Todd already has 28 points ahead of former GP rider and 85cc world champion Wilson.
