Fors takes home the largest cup in MCLB Sinaai!
Last weekend the VJMO – MCLB paddock settled in Sinaai! With the usual names at the start such as Kevin Fors, Torpjurn van Hoe, Jaimy Deleersnijder, Dylan Verleysen, the returning Wietse Brackman, but also guest riders such as Tallon Verhelst and Robin Bakens!
In the first round, Wietse Brackman, present in Waaslandse Sinaai, saw him come through the first lap in the lead. However, the Leon Sagaert Husqvarna pilot resumed motorcycle training only a month ago and it still showed. Soon a well-started Torpjurn van Hoe came up and over the MC the Willemsvrienden pilot. Just over halfway through the match, Kevin Fors got into a duel with Jorne Tytgat and Wietse Brackman. After a few leaps and bounds, it was the Walloon Reytec pilot who eventually settled into second position ahead of Wietse Brackman. The top five was completed with Jaimy Deleersnijder and Dylan Verleysen. Jorne Tytgat finally dropped to eleventh place.
At the start of the second heat we saw Robin Bakens take command of the pack. The regional pilot had bad luck in the first heat but clearly wanted to take revenge in the second heat. On his Kawasaki from Bakens Motoren, he initially managed to hold off Dylan Verleysen and in the second instance Kevin Fors. However, Kevin Fors comes on strong in the second half of the race and manages to take over the lead from Robin Bakens, who manages to finish second behind Kevin Fors and ahead of Dylan Verleysen. Jaimy Deleersnijder and Wietse Brackman complete the top five! The winner of the first round, Torpjurn Van Hoe, was second at one point, but dropped out of the race and was classified nineteenth.
Kevin Fors obviously wins the daily rankings in Sinaai with a second place and a first place! He does this for Wietse Brackman (3-5) and Jaimy Deleersnijder (4-4). In the MX2 class the victory went to Bart Klijn who managed to stay ahead of Henson Lievens and in the Inters B we saw Greg Demeulemeester crowned primus.
