Cole Martinez breaks his thigh
Things went wrong for Cole Martinez during the eleventh round of the MonsterEnergy AMA Supercross Championship in Indianapolis. The Suzuki rider crashed in the first timed practice and broke his thigh! On Sunday afternoon, the 26-year-old rider from San Clemente underwent surgery for his injury. Martinez has been seen frequently in Europe in recent winters, becoming European Supercross Champion in 2017 and becoming the “King of Zuidbroek” in 2016. This season, Martinez has already reached the final five times and occupied 22nd place in the standings.
