MUST SEE: “The Battle for Motocross”
The short documentary 'The Fight for Motocross' describes some problem areas that stand in the way of the future of our beautiful sport. Jean-Paul Maas from 'Living for the Weekend' has been looking for several years for a way to offer clubs and riders a helping hand and make a difference in terms of safety, young recruits and the preservation of circuits.
A novice driver recently died in Ermelo. In his first encounter with this circuit, he crashed behind a bouncy bump and could no longer be avoided by an experienced driver. As far as we know, the number of drivers who have died in this way now stands at 11. Numerous circuits are also under pressure or have disappeared and the starting gates are empty rather than full in various categories.
This is certainly not a typically Dutch phenomenon. After all, many of these pain points also exist in Belgium and other countries. So time for action. Leave your comment below or our Facebookpagina or for Living for the weekend FB page And especially read the information about the app.
