Vacancy: Grizzly Yamaha Junior Racing
The Grizzly Yamaha Junior Team is the officially supported youth team of Yamaha Motor Europe that focuses on competitions in the EMX, ADAC, Dutch Masters and ONK championships.
After we were active with the new Yamaha YZ2018 in 65, the Yamaha YZ85 will also be added next season and we are expanding our team from three to five riders. As a result, we are immediately looking for an experienced mechanic who can support our young riders for 10-12 years during training and competitions. During the week you work in the team's workshop in Made, and you provide support during training on the circuit. During the weekends you are available for the competitions, which are held both in the Netherlands and abroad.
What does this job entail?
- You maintain the engines during training and competitions.
- You work within a professional team that operates at the highest level in the 65cc and 85cc.
- International working environment, with drivers from Belgium, England, the Netherlands.
- As an officially supported team of Yamaha Motor Europe, the standards are high and you work in an environment in which you are encouraged to get the best out of yourself.
- 24/7 motocross. During the week and most of the weekends you are busy with the best sport there is. However, this job will not boost your social life.
- You travel with the team to both competitions in the Netherlands and international competitions.
Who are we looking for?
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a motocross mechanic.
- You are in possession of a driver's license.
- You have an excellent command of the English language.
- Strong passion for motocross, so we can count on your enthusiasm even on weekends and after 17:30 PM.
- You enjoy working with talents aged 10-12 years.
