Shane Mcelrath wins the Triple Thrown
The first Trilpe Crown of the season was won by Shane Mcelrath, in Anaheim's Angel Stadium the KTM rider finished third, second and first. With this he won the daily classification ahead of Star Racing drivers Dylan Ferrandis (2-1-3) and Colt Nichols (1-3-4). Nichols continues to lead in the standings, Mcelrath (photo) now follows only two points! Ferrandis rises to third place as Adam Cianciarulo drops back after the Kawasaki rider only managed to finish fifth in Anaheim.
