The circle is complete: Max Nagl back at KTM Sarholz!
Former Vice World Champion Max Nagl returns to the team where it all started for him: KTM Sarholz Racing Team. The German veteran will be at the start of all European GPs and of course the ADAC MX Masters with Sarholz.
Last season Nagl competed for the TM factory team. Since TM withdraws from the World Cup, Max had to look for another team. He has now found that in the trusted Sarholz KTM. “It all started with Burkhard (ed. Sarholz) and Edith. I celebrated my first major successes at Sarholz. It all started on the 85cc machine and ended with the move to the KTM factory team in 2008. I'm super happy to be returning now! With the help of KTM and our partners we can put together a good package. This makes me very motivated for next season, said the 31-year-old German living in Lommel. “
Nagl wants to go for the ADAC MX Masters title in 2019 and achieve strong results in the MXGP. “When we heard that the project with TM and Max would probably not go ahead, we didn't hesitate for long,” says Sarholz. If you can work with an exceptional rider like Max, it is a golden opportunity. It is also a great honor for our team that Max has chosen us after his career in various factory teams. We are one hundred percent convinced that we can surprise many people next season!”
