A successful season with Kay Karssemakers.
The first season of it Team Youth Pro MX en Kay Karssemakers went very well. The KTM rider finished fourth in the KNMV Dutch Masters of MX and came second in the KNMV Open Dutch Championship 85cc Big Wheels. The Brabander finished third during the FIM World Championship 85cc in Australia. During the final of the European 85cc Championship, the Alpinestars-clad motocross rider missed the podium, but finished fourth!
In short, it has been a successful season, but after one season Kay switches to another team. The 14-year-old motocross rider continues to compete in the European 125cc Championship for KTM. The Team Youth Pro MX wishes Kay much success in the future.
Youth Pro MX:
“Kay is a rider with a lot of potential. With good structure and guidance, we see him as a future Grand Prix winner! Kay has everything it takes to achieve that.”
2019:
The exact plans for next season are not yet clear. Dean Gregoire and Sjevy Klokgieter will certainly continue to compete for the Brabant team in the 65cc class. The remaining drivers will be announced later.
