Orp-le-Grand: Rodriguez and Verhelst rule in 250
Due to the cancellation of Thomas Covington, both 250cc heats became a thorough (?) training for Kemea-Yamaha rider Anthony Rodriguez. The sympathetic Venezuelan won easily in both heats.
It is always pleasant to stay at the Kleine Gete, as was the large audience. Fortunately, because in terms of tension, the combined Inters & Nationals 250 race was immediately decapitated by Covington's absence. Micha-Boy De Waal was Rodriguez's closest attacker during the time training, but had a real bad day.
Regional rider Erik Willems was at the appointment. Erik had two strong starts and managed to break away from the rest of the field. Spectacle maker Dennis Verbruggen once raced to the holeshot in Orp-le-Grand in his LS Honda period with the MXmag logo on his shirt. In the first race Crusty made another great start. The ex-European 125cc champion eventually finished 9th in the final standings.
National MX2 champion Tallon Verhelst reminded everyone again why he is the strongest this year. Tallon finished 8th in both heats and even kept GP rider Oriol Casas behind him in the final!
