First heat.
The best start was for van der Voorn with Driessen on his rear wheel. Both quickly took a lead over the rest, led by Bankers. After two laps in the heat the top positions were taken. Van der Voorn took the lead ahead of Driessen, Bankers, Kevin Simons and Joey van der Zanden. Van der Voorn was by far the fastest on the track and was significantly ahead of Driessen. The pursuers maintained their position throughout the entire heat and the differences between them increased slightly with each lap.
Second heat
Driessen was now the fastest way ahead of van der Voorn. Van der Voorn immediately put full pressure on Driessen and took over the lead on the third lap and rode unthreatened to the heat victory. Driessen had his hands full with Bankers and in a direct duel he lost second place. The only one who could stay reasonably close to Bankers and Driessen was Simons, who finished fourth in the heat. Fifth place went to van der Zanden again.
In the net standings of the National Championship, Driessen remains in the lead after eight games. Van der Voorn follows on 78 points with four games to go. Twan de Weerd was not present and was passed by Michon Voets and Sasha Rutten.
