Arne Dierckens confirms Robbie Bax as his new baking player for 2019!
Belgian sidecar rider Arne Dierckens today confirmed his intention to collaborate with Dutch racing driver Robbie Bax. Bax, who lives in Lommel, makes a one-for-one exchange in the sidecar with the Frenchman Luc Rostingt, now the 'ex' of Dierckens, who takes Bax's former place next to Daniël Willemsen's side.
Dierckens announced today that the persistent flow of rumors can finally come to an end. Dierckens/Bax will form a couple next year and the number ten of the last World Cup Sidecar Cross is pleased that the collaboration can be announced at an early stage. Arne Dierckens made the following comment;
Arne Dierckens: 'Both Luc and I were done with each other and ready for a new challenge. We have had great years and in recent years we have come from nowhere into the top ten of the World Championship Sidecar Cross! Now I am ready for the next step with a racing driver with a lot of experience and several GP wins to his name. I am happy to be able to officially report this now so that we can start the preparations for the 2019 World Cup season more motivated than ever.
Mxmag wishes Dierckens/Bax as well as Willemsen/Rostingt the best of luck in 2019 and we will keep you informed this winter about the 'bakist raffle' that happens every winter!
