The MJC rider was on the podium and reacts as follows. “With the help of my trainer at Papendal and the physiotherapist from Yamaha Racing, my back started to get better and better and I was able to start riding again a week and a half before the EMX125 race in Switzerland. I would like to thank my team manager Loic le Foll for training with me. I took part in a race in France to gain some competitive rhythm and managed to win four heats and finish third once, taking the overall victory. I felt good when I traveled to Switzerland. My back felt good and after a good weekend I managed to finish third in the daily rankings with 2-4 in the heats. I was very happy to be back at an MXGP and to get on the podium. It was the first time this year after two injuries that I managed to reach the podium. I want to thank all the people who helped me. Today I travel to Australia where I will start in the 125cc World Championship next weekend."
