Zach Pichon misses two GPs due to a back injury.
In Frauenfeld began Zach Pichon very good start to the GP weekend with a ninth fastest time in timed training! The rest of the weekend was difficult, the Frenchman crashed twice in the first moto. In the first corner with Thomas Kjer Olsen and later the KTM rider himself makes a mistake. In the crash he hurts his back and travels Team KTM Rocket Juniors straight back to France. Research has shown that Pichon has suffered a 'muscle tear' and this must heal with rest. This weekend Pichon will have to miss the Grand Prix of Bulgaria and Turkey. The 17-year-old rider hopes to be back in action in Assen.
