EMX85: De Wolf and Everts on stage in Loket.
The second round during the final of the European 85cc Championship is dominated by Kay the Wolf. The Brabander wins with a wide lead on the Loket circuit. Due to sixth place in the first round, the Team Beursfoon rider has to settle for second place in the championship. The title goes to South Africa thanks Camden McLellan, Liam Evert (2-4) comes third in the daily rankings ahead of Kay Karssemakers (5-3), who narrowly misses the podium.
In the second moto, De Wolf takes the lead on the first full lap and never looks back. After the crash immediately after the start of the first heat, the student now immediately hands over his business card. In the initial phase, Valerio Lata is in second place, but he loses this to Karssemakers. This is passed a little later by McLellan, but the Team Youth Pro MX rider does not give up. A nice fight ensues until a straggler gets in the way of both riders. The South African takes the decisive lead and he finishes second, which is enough for the title. Karssemakers is third ahead of Everts who comes back very well after a poor start. In front of his own audience, Radek Vetrovsky finished fifth, followed by Dave Kooiker!
