The first moto doesn't start well for the Kawasaki rider who sees the starting gate move and releases the clutch. That's a little too early and the 21-year-old Brit hits the starting gate. The chase starts immediately and Adam quickly drives forward. He managed to complete the first full lap in tenth place. Then fellow countryman Watson makes a mistake, causing Adam to climb to ninth place. In the second half of the race, Watson passes again and Adam manages to accelerate. In Watson's shadow, Adam connects with the German Jacobi. In the final phase of the first heat over 30 minutes and two laps, a fierce duel ensues with Jacobi for ninth place. The F&H Racing rider manages to decide this battle in his favor and Adam crosses the finish line in ninth!

Fortunately, the start of the second heat goes better for Adam, who comes out of the first corner just outside the top ten. In three laps Adam manages to work his way into the top ten and he manages to hold this place for more than twenty minutes. The conditions are very tough and Adam in particular has a hard time in hot weather conditions. The Italian Cervellin passes, causing Adam to drop back to eleventh place. He continues to drive at his own pace and with that he neatly holds on to eleventh place! With 22 points, the rider from Sealand, just south of Liverpool, travels satisfied to the next GP.
