Maxime Desprey wins in France, Yentel Martens 4th
Maxime Desprey (Gebben-Racing-Van Venrooy-Kawasaki) beat the organization of his own club yesterday, AMC Issois, narrowly Jordi Tixier. Desprey won the first two heats and finished third in the final. Valentin Teillet finished third in the final standings. A regular Yentel Martens finished fourth.
The competition in Is-sur-Tille was organized to benefit medical research into the brain and spinal cord. The other Belgians also made positive comments on the beautiful circuit not so far from Dijon. The indomitable Steve Ramon finished fifth ahead of Jérémy Delincé. Kevin Fors started his day strongly in fourth, but had less success in the next two heats. A very solid Lars Greekpoor finished eleventh as the best MX2 rider.
