JTX Racing becomes Husqvarna dealer
The Husqvarna Vitpilen and Svartpilen: although they have only just landed in the Netherlands, the two high-tech style icons are already anchored in the motorcycle world. Once you see them, you will have both motorcycles etched in your memory forever.
But both Husqvarnas of course offer more than their seductive love at first sight. Namely ultra-refined, powerful single-cylinders, balanced chassis and each with its own well-thought-out ergonomics. After all, street life is their domain; The Husqvarnas certainly deserve a hall of fame in museums.
To assist every (potential) Vitpilen or Svartpilen rider on all fronts, Husqvarna has drastically expanded its dealer network, with a focus on the already coveted 401 and 701 generation. We therefore focus on the brand new Husqvarna street dealers with the third in a series of seven new dealers:
Joep Teunesen from JTX Racing in Cuijk
It was 2001 when Joep Teunesen opened his motorcycle shop JTX Racing in Cuijk. While the first two letters of the company name are easily explained, the X strongly suggests a focus on cross and enduro. Teunesen: 'Yes, occasionally the logo also contains MX, but that is only if the wrong logo is accidentally used, haha...'
Isn't it strange that an originally seasoned off-road business now also has a Svartpilen and Vitpilen on the floor as an official Husqvarna dealer? "No definitely not; Husqvarna is still alive among my target group because of its cross and enduro history. And with more emphasis on street use and the revival of the café racer scene, you get different people and that can only be a good thing. We certainly get people from our immediate Gelderland region with cities such as Nijmegen and Arnhem.”
“The reactions to the Svartpilen and Vitpilen have also been very positive in my business, although it is logical that it will take time and promotion before Husqvarna
layers of motorcyclists is becoming just as renowned a brand as the big boys. It's not the machines' fault; especially during the nice weather
In recent times they have become ideal engines, and not just for people who want something different. And we have years and years of experience with the technology;
With a blindfold on we can tinker with the machines, if ever necessary. So yes, Husqvarna is certainly an asset for us.”
