Brent Van Doninck to Diga Procross Husqvarna?
It was previously announced that Ottobiano Motorsport, Brent Van Doninck's team in Germany, took part in their last GP last weekend. As a result, Brent had to look for another team. The former MX2 podium rider had a very difficult season with Ottobiano after a winter with four operations. Yet there would now be good news for Van Doninck!
The 22-year-old rider from Herentals may also compete in the MX2 next year and remains one of the references in the lightest category. Even in difficult circumstances - including a huge payment arrears by the team and a lack of material - the moribund Ottobiano improved week after week. Just like teammate Iker Larranaga, Van Doninck would now find shelter at the German Diga Procross Husqvarna.
Brent will initially participate with the German team in the ADAC MX Masters round of Mölln this weekend. A final decision is expected afterwards.
