Hunter Lawrence does not start in 2nd MX2 round
During yesterday's qualifying match, second-place finisher Hunter Lawrence made a good impression. Today the promising Australian was not lucky. In the first moto he fell on his head. As a result, the 114 Motorsports rider has to miss the second round.
In a statement, his team said that “He was fourth in the first moto, but when he slipped from the front he hit his head quite hard after the step-up. Although Hunter is okay, we don't want to take any risks and he will therefore not start in the second series. We remain positive and now focus on the next GP in Germany.
This is another setback for Livia Lancelot's team after Lawrence previously broke a bone in his hand, Latvia was his first match back. As is known, Bas Vaessen is also in hospital with a muscle injury.
