The first MCLB BK round in Laarne is perfect for Fors!
In the MCLB federation, the Inters category rode their first round for the Belgian championship today. However, the MCLB spectator had to do without Damon Graulus, Jeffrey Dewulf and Ken De Dycker who had obligations abroad. However, there still remained a nice field of participants of about thirty pilots.
We saw Wietse Brackman take the holeshot from these pilots in the first round. The Husqvarna pilot took the lead. However, after a little slip, the lead slipped out of his hands, like a hamburger from between a bun, and Kevin Fors was quick to take the proverbial meat. Kevin Fors took over the lead and rode smoothly to victory. This for Wackobracko who, on the way to second place, also adjusted the course to his taste by driving out a few posts. Behind these two gentlemen we saw David Segers come in third ahead of Dylan Verleysen and Maarten Govaert.
In the second moto the holeshot went to Kevin Fors. The winner of the first series immediately had Wietse Brackman on his wheel. Both gentlemen did not give much to each other until Brackman had to swerve from a doubled pilot a few laps from the end, causing him to fall heavily. This meant that there was nothing left in the way of a double series victory for Kevin Fors. Wietse Brackman still finished second after his crash, ahead of David Segers, Dylan Verleysen and Jurgen Wybo on his MX2 machine.
When looking at the daily results you will see that Kevin Fors is the total victor in Laarne, ahead of Wietse Brackman and David Segers. In the MX2 class, Jurgen Wybo takes the lead again with an eleventh and fifth place! The victory at the International B went to Michiel Vercauteren.
