Preview BK Motocross Moerbeke-Waas
This Sunday the BMB opening cross, and also the first round of the BK motocross, will be held in Moerbeke-Waas. MC Scheldeland has worked hard on the circuit in recent days to offer a nice, flowing circuit to the riders. Moreover, the track is currently in excellent condition, despite the rain. Both solos and sidecars are on the program in Moerbeke-Waas.
The sandy circuit has now been run in and approved. It is also clear that many riders are looking forward to the BMB opener with impatience! This should result in interesting competitions in all classes. A lot of big guns are expected, especially with the sidecars. No Willemsen/Bax, nor Bax Stupelis, but many other World Cup tenors including Dierckens/Sanders, Vanluchene/Van Den Boogaart, Santermans/Konstanina, Varik/Daiders, the Cemak brothers, etc. The search for a successor to reigning Belgian champion Jason Van Daele. Unfortunately, Van Daele will not be there due to an elbow injury.
Whoever ultimately heads to the Waasland will also remain with the Inters, so solo riders, it's guesswork. Because of the competition with Markelo and the Dutch Masters of Motocross, the International competition of Sommières and all amateur competitions, there is plenty of choice. With reservations, we are thinking of men like Nick Triest for Moerbeke, Daymond Martens, Erik Willems, Mathias Plessers, or Roy Silliën. We are also curious about the home races of Tallon Verhelst from Lokeren and Dean Van Clapdorp (Sint-Niklaas)
And even more than an average match, it is always a bonus for those who can win the opening match of the season!
