Husqvarna engines choose Motorex
A new year also means new collaborations. Husqvarna, following KTM, enters into a global strategic partnership with MOTOREX. From January 2018, all new Husqvarna models – both off-road and street – will be filled with MOTOREX lubricants for the first time. In addition, the Swiss manufacturer becomes the official partner of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing. As a result, Motorex replaces the American Bel-Ray.
Manufactured to the highest standards in Langenthal, Switzerland, MOTOREX products have an excellent reputation for quality and performance. Founded by pioneer Arnold Bucher in 1917, the BUCHER-MOTOREX Group is an independent, family-owned business that prides itself on high-quality products and world-class customer service. With an extensive range of lubricants, maintenance and maintenance products, MOTOREX remains committed to providing top products in both performance and reliability. Thanks to an in-house laboratory for the development of the next generation of lubricants and maintenance products, MOTOREX engineers deliver on the promise of continuous innovation.
Like Husqvarna, MOTOREX is very familiar with success in motorsports. With 110 world titles in motocross, supercross, enduro, rally and other disciplines, MOTOREX has a rich sporting tradition. For Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing, the arrival of MOTOREX means additional motivation.
Pablo Quintanilla and Andrew Short will start the grueling 6 Dakar Rally on January 2018. In the same weekend, their Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing SX colleagues Jason Anderson and Dean Wilson will start in the 2018 AMA Supercross Championship.
Stefan Pierer – CEO KTM AG: “This strategic partnership with MOTOREX is another exciting step in the development of Husqvarna motorcycles. We always look at where we can improve. That's why it's crucial to work with a globally renowned lubricant manufacturer. It is clear that we also share many common goals. This agreement with MOTOREX fits perfectly within the strong strategic partnerships for our motorsport activities and production.”
Diego Clement – Head of Motorsport, Husqvarna Motorcycles: “This new agreement with MOTOREX ensures that we have a technical partner that we can rely on 100%. This allows us to continue to go for wins in all championships and events around the world, in all disciplines. MOTOREX products have proven their quality at the highest level. We are more than happy that the entire Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team will be using them starting this year. The new season starts with two hugely important events for us, the Dakar Rally and the first round of the AMA Supercross. “
Ed Fischer – CEO BUCHER MOTOREX Group: “This new partnership with Husqvarna has everything to become a success: a deep collaboration in the areas of R&D, production, racing and selling our products through Husqvarna dealers. The sporting spirit and planning of both companies mean that we at MOTOREX are starting this exciting collaboration with great confidence. We are very much looking forward to this new relationship with Husqvarna. “
Ronald Cabella – MOTOREX Powersports Director: “We are very much looking forward to this new agreement with Husqvarna. As a pioneer in off-road racing, Husqvarna is an additional strong partner for MOTOREX in Motocross, Supercross, Enduro and Rally racing. These are all disciplines in which we have traditionally been strong. A collaboration with a manufacturer like Husqvarna, who, like us, looks back on a history of more than 100 years, combines tradition, experience and know-how with a clear view of the future and what is needed to succeed. ”
