Beaton completes F&H Kawsaki Racing line-up
Two weeks ago it was announced that Adam Sterry will compete for the F&H Kawasaki Racing Team in 2018. Today, Jed Beaton signed a contract with the South Holland team! The Australian, like his teammates, will ride the FIM World Championship MX2 and the KNMV Dutch Masters of Motocross MX2.
The 19-year-old rider won the Australian MX2016 Championship in 2. This year he came to Europe to participate in the EMX250. Beaton finished fourteenth despite missing two games due to a broken collarbone. He managed to reach the podium three times. He did not participate in the final of the EMX250 due to an invitation to participate in the GP in France. In Villars Sous Ecot he came third during the final of the FIM World MX2 Championship!
Jed Beaton: “I am very much looking forward to working with the F&H Racing Team. It is a very good team and I am very motivated to enter into a successful collaboration in 2018”
Harrie van Hout: (team coordinator F&H Racing Team)
“I'm really looking forward to working with Jed when he returns from Australia for his holiday. From the first day I saw him drive, I am convinced that he has a lot of potential. He has already proven this with his podium finish during the Grand Prix in Villars Sous Ecot. We hope that he continues to develop and that we can achieve great successes together. “
Nathalie Fase: (commercial team manager)
“We are very happy to sign Jed and the team is looking forward to his return to the Netherlands. Jed has shown this season in both the EMX250 and MX2 classes that he has a lot of potential to compete at the front. The coming months will be all about testing and we hope that he will continue to develop this winter to maintain that good line with a podium finish from Villars Sous Ecot.”
