EMX300: Anderson continues to dominate, Greg Smets excellent second series…
The EMX300 riders were allowed to contest their third race of the European Championship in Ottobiano, Italy. Victory on the sandy circuit went to Brit Brad Anderson for the third time in a row this season, ahead of his fellow countryman James Dunn and the Dutchman Mike Kras. Our compatriots Erik Willems (5-6) and Kenny Vandueren (4-8) fell just off the podium, who managed to take third place in Orlyonok, Russia.
Greg Smets (53) rode to a good second place in Italy in the second series, but it is a pity that he did not get further than 17th place in the first series, otherwise there might have been a podium finish for the man from Dessel.
In the standings, Brad Anderson remains firmly in the lead and already has a 21-point lead over defending champion Mike Kras. In third place we find Kenny Vandueren and Erik Willems occupies fourth place after three games. We find Greg Smets in 12th place.
