Dutch Masters Live: Victories for Herlings and Olsen!
Jeffrey Herlings just won the first round in the MX1 in Emmen with force majeure. Herlings won ahead of Paulin and Bobryshev. Anstie, who had started strongly, finished 5th. Ken De Dycker became the best Belgian with a neat 8th place. In MX2, in-form man Thomas Kjer Olsen was victorious. He was also clearly the strongest as he won by 15 seconds ahead of Covington. Brian Bogers, Bas Vaessen and David Herbreteau completed the top 5. EMX250 rookie finished sixth in this strong group.

The public in Emmen is also spoiled with a very deep field of participants! In the MX1, Jeffrey Herlings was more than 1,8 seconds faster than Max Anstie in timed training. This was followed by Paulin, Nagl, Bobryshev and Febvre. Jeffrey Dewulf had a hard time but still managed to qualify 8th, just after Yentel Martens.
In MX2, Brian Bogers took pole ahead of F&H Kawasaki rider David Herbreteau, Freek Van der Vlist and Rockstar Energy Husqvarna duo Thomas Kjer Olsen and Thomas Covington. Jago Geerts was the best Belgian with sixth place. No Lars Van Berkel today at the Motodrome. It is reported that a split has occurred between Veghelaar and Vamo Honda. Micael Ivanov is working in Emmen. More later!
