EMX125: Mikkel Haarup wins the opening competition in Valkenswaard
After the first series, Mikkel Haarup also won the second series in the opening competition of the EMX125 class. The Danish Husqvarna rider won the second series ahead of Frenchman Brian Strubhart Moreau and Spaniard Sergi Notario. From the Belgian side, only Jarni Kooij could have qualified for the competition and took 30th place in this second series. In the first series, Kooij took 17th place, which still earned him four European points.
In the standings after the first match, Mikkel Haarup has eight points ahead of Brian Strubhart Moreau and fourteen ahead of Sergi Notario. The next race for the EMX125 is on May 7 in Kegums, Latvia.
