Preview VLM Arendonk!
Motoren and Arendonk have been going together for years. This Sunday's VLM cross, organized by the Deltacrossers, is therefore a household name! Everyone is welcome at the circuit at Roobeek, but Arendonk residents can enter for free!
After the heavy sandbox of the Keiheuvel, a completely different decor this weekend for the JMS en VLM drivers. The well-known circuit on the Nieuwedijk has a typical subsoil of corn land. Traditionally, Arendonk is also a fixed appointment on the sidecar calendar, which is no different now because circuit de Robeck receives the sidecar drivers for their second championship test! The first competition was won there by the Gielkens brothers.
At the Inters Open we are curious whether we will know a new winner. Although the chance of recurrence is quite high Steve Seronval (winner in Meldert and Vorselaar) who is gradually starting to find his feet in the VLM. The big absentee is a man in form Cedric Grobben who has to forego Arendonk for professional reasons.
This of course creates opportunities for other drivers. Local hero Wouter Van Massenhoven was already on the podium in Vorselaar, so who knows, Wouter can take the stage! And what about the indestructible one Kristof Salaets, second on the Keiheuvel last weekend. For Deltacrosser Jelle Meeus it will of course be a home game in Arendonk. At the Inters MX2 we are looking forward to, among other things Jordi Van Mieghem, Jonathan Banks and of course Arendonkenaar Dieter Vromans!
On Saturday the training for JMS pilots starts at 9 am. The free training on Saturday is scheduled from 16 p.m. to 18 p.m. On Sunday there are tests for the following series: Recreational, Juniors Open, Nationals Open and Sidecar Open. Please note that we switch from winter time to summer time from Saturday to Sunday!
