Preview VLM Helchteren
MC De Vrijheid, led by Ludo Vermijl, traditionally has the honor of getting the VLM season started. That's happening this weekend in Helchteren. You can read all about the highly anticipated season opener below!
The big attraction next Sunday is the VLM debut of GP rider and crowd favorite Ken Dycker. You can find an extensive interview with Keeno following the opening cross in Helchteren here. But of course there are still privateers waiting for the victory and other names are being put forward for the championship title. The most notable is probably Steve Seronval.
Seronval, who will play for Racing Center Deurne, has decided to look for other places after years of dominance in the MCLB. You can bet that the established VLM values such as Jens Van Meer, Kenny Janssens, Jelle Grade en Wouter Van Massenhoven will sell their skin dearly. That promises! You can see the timetable for Sunday here:
New for this season is the move of the quads from Sunday to Saturday. The Inters B category was abolished again. There is a separate classification for Inters MX1/MX3 and MX2. You can see the timetable for JMS on Saturday here:
