Up-To-Know: Phoenix (Glendale) Supercross!
A photo posted by Ken Roczen (@kenroczen94) on
This weekend the fourth round of the Supercross championship will be contested in Glendale. The beautiful University of Phoenix stadium will be the meeting place. Who won't be there is Ken Roczen. The German broke his arm and also dislocated his wrist and elbow of that left arm. Now we have to look around to see who can keep Ryan Dungey from winning his umpteenth title. Is it teammate Marvin Musquin who is now the big outsider for the title, or will Eli Tomac from the Geico Honda finally return to the scene?
We will have to wait and see, but we are already looking forward to this match, which will be held for only the second time in the 'University of Phoenix' stadium, which opened in 2006. From 2006 to 2015, the Phoenix game was held at Chase Field, a baseball stadium used by the Arizona Diamondbacks. However, this stadium can only accommodate about 48.000 people, while the University of Phoenix stadium has room for 68.000 visitors!
