Ryan Dungey dominates in Santa Clara
Ryan Dungey continues to dominate the 2016 AMA Monster Energy Supercross series. During this twelfth championship race, which was held in Santa Clara, Dungey was unstoppable. The KTM Red Bull rider achieved a start-finish victory, which was his sixth victory and his twelfth podium in a row this season. Second place went to Ken Roczen, but he still had to give up some points to the leader in the standings. The difference with leader Ryan Dungey is already 42 points. Third place in Santa Clara went to Rockstar Energy Husqvarna rider Jason Anderson.

In the SX250 class it was the turn of the West Coast riders again. The victory went to Yamalube/Star Yamaha Racing rider Cooper Webb who already took his fifth win of the season. In the standings with only one race to go in Las Vegas for the West Coast, Cooper Webb has a 16 point lead over second man Joey Savatgy who could not get further than third place. Second place in Santa Clara went to Rockstar Energy Husqvarna rider Zach Osborne, who moved up to fourth place in the standings.
