Nostalgia: GP of Namur in 1958
Anyone who hears of the citadel of Namur immediately thinks back nostalgically to the motocross monument par excellence. But the GP of Namur on the citadel in 1958 is a great classic! Our compatriot René Baeten fought a hard battle for victory with, among others, the world champion of '57 Nilsson. Even the later King Albert II was an attentive spectator on the esplanade.
