Romain Febvre extended with Yamaha!
It has been announced here and there before that Romain Febvre had re-signed with Yamaha. However, this was still a bit premature at the time, because with not a single signature on paper and a pilot who can win, there are always privateers on the coast. However, it has now succeeded for the brand with the two tuning forks in their logo. Yamaha has offered this season's MXGP sensation Romain Febvre a contract extension for 2 years, which the Frenchman has accepted.
This means that the winner of the French and Italian Grand Prix until 2017 will ride a blue machine. Whether this will be the case again in the Rinaldi team is a question mark. However, we heard rumors that the team structure of the Yamaha teams could be thoroughly mixed up. Not new for the brand, we have already seen them juggle with teams such as Ricci, Dixon, Gariboldi and Rinaldi in the past.
