Ryan Dungey rules Anaheim III
Ryan Dungey has taken his first win of the new season. The Red Bull KTM rider did not encounter any problems at any time after he took the lead on the second lap and rode to victory in a controlled manner. Cole Seely surprisingly took second place ahead of Eli Tomac who kept Ken Roczen off the podium on the final lap. In the Lites it was Cooper Webb who took victory for the third time.
Supercross 450
It was Blake Baggett who took the holeshot ahead of Alessi, Dungey and Seely. But in the second lap both Dungey and Seely passed the Suzuki rider. Ken Roczen and Eli Tomac followed in sixth and seventh place. This duo lost some time behind Blake Baggett and were only able to move over the quick starter to fourth and fifth place just before halfway through the race. The road was now open to look for the Honda duo Seely and Canard. Trey Canard, who was putting pressure on his teammate, made a mistake himself and Roczen and Tomac were able to move up one place. At the front, Ryan Dungey had everything under control and we were still looking forward to what Rocen and Tomac had in store. With just three laps to go, Tomac made his first attack on Ken Roczen for third place. So the signal was given by Tomac and we got to see an exciting finish for third place. Tomac kept pushing and as the very last lap started, Tomac was able to get inside and move into third place. Due to this duel in the last lap, the two fighters also ended up in the wheel of second man Cole Seely. But the Honda rider, who rode a very consistent race, was just able to keep the oncoming Tomac behind him. Ryan Dungey took his very first victory of the season with great control and immediately strengthened his leading position in the standings.

Lites 250
Who else than Cooper Webb who took victory in Anaheim III. Even after a restart in the Main Event because Zach Osborne crashed into the starting gate and the race was only stopped after six laps by a red flag. Didn't deter Cooper Webb and took his third win of the season at the West Coast Lites. Second place went to Jessy Nelson and Cooper's teammate Aaron Plessinger took third place. The biggest casualty in this fourth game for the West Coast Lites was Tyler Bowers. The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider crashed spectacularly and only managed fifteenth place. In the standings, Cooper Webb already has an eighteen point lead over second man Jessy Nelson.
