3 out of 7 ONKs during a GP weekend!
The time has come, shortly after the BMB calendar was released, the Dutch have now also finished their consultations. The least you can say about the ONK calendar is that it is experimental and special! Let's take a quick look and go over.
ONK solo motocross calendar 2015
March 15: Gemert
March 29: Halle
May 14: Rhenen
July 19: Markelo
September 13: Varsseveld
September 20: Oss
October 11: Mill
The first thing I noticed is that 3 of the 7 races coincide with an overseas GP. For example, Halle, Varsseveld and Oss will coincide with the GPs of Argentina, Mexico and USA.
In the Netherlands, however, they no longer do it like the previous year, by which I mean finishing the entire calendar before the summer holidays start.
As always, we see beautiful circuits, Oss, Rhenen, Mill, Varsseveld ... one by one they are among the most beautiful in the Netherlands, and the circuits not mentioned are also said to be beautiful.
Some other important changes are that prize money will now be distributed up to and including place 20, here the KNMV clearly shows that they are thinking along with their licensees! They have also found a promoter, Motocrossplanet will promote the ONK and ensure that every organization and the official ONK website will be uniform.
After all, they also know in the Netherlands that youth are the future, and research is currently underway on which Saturdays National Youth Championship competitions can take place!
I recommend every Belgian to take part in an ONK, the format with only 4 classes (MX1, MX2, 125cc & 85cc) ensures fun competitions every time.
