Switzerland wins coupe de l'avenir, Belgium third
In Baisieux, the Swiss team won the youth trophy ahead of Finland and Belgium. Brent Vandoninck won the Joël Robert coupe individually by winning the three heats. Finland finished with the same points as the Swiss, but this was not enough for them to win. Belgium followed 8 points behind the winner with Ludovic Brevers (6-25-20) and Cyril Genot (15-22-19).

In the 85cc the 3 series victories went to Brian Strubhart Mureau. No country rankings were kept here. Limberger Glenn Bielen became the first compatriot in 9th place after a nice fourth place in the first heat.
In the 65cc category, the country trophy went to Spain ahead of Germany and Switzerland. The Belgian team, including Liam Everts, finished in sixth place, followed by the second Belgian team in seventh place.
