Jeremy Van Horebeek to Yamaha in 2014 & 2015
It has been in the air for a while, but it has now been officially confirmed that Jeremy Van Horebeek will move to Yamaha. Our compatriot has signed a two-year agreement with Yamaha. In 2014 and 2015, The Jerre will start on the factory Yamaha in the MXGP class. The Yamaha factory team will consist of one MXGP rider Jeremy Van Horebeek and one MX2 rider, Frenchman Christophé Charlier.
Australian Dean Ferris will also ride the official factory Yamaha MXGP, but for Steve Dixon's British team.
Jeremy Van Horebeek : I have had a wonderful season in MX1. Unfortunately I broke my finger four weeks before the start of the first Grand Prix. But as soon as this problem was solved and I got back into good shape, I was always close to the top five. I always wanted to be the number one pilot in a factory team and with Yamaha comes the perfect opportunity. With the support of Yamaha Rinaldi I am sure it will help me get to the next level.
