Mika Ahola calls it quits…
Completely unexpectedly, Mika Ahola announced the end of his career last weekend. However, the Finnish enduro rider had signed a contract with the new Spanish manufacturer Jotagas at the end of November.
Ahola won a world title on HM Honda in five consecutive seasons from 2007 onwards. It is remarkable that Ahola did this in the three different classes. Below is an overview of Ahola's five world titles:
2007 E2 World Champion HM Honda
2008 E1 World Champion HM Honda
2009 E1 World Champion HM Honda
2010 World Champion E2 HM Honda
2011 E3 World Champion HM Honda
