Bad luck for Max Nagl, MX1 ranks further thinned?
Things are not going well for Max Nagl this season. After his back problems, the sympathetic German injured his wrist this morning after jumping too far in the pre-qualifying time training. Nagl was patched up with all his might (ice, Compex, painkiller and Donjoy wrist brace), but ultimately the Red Bull-KTM pilot gave up during qualifying. Tomorrow Max will try to drive, if only to score as many points as possible for the final championship standings.
Unfortunately we won't get to see Tony Cairoli on the 250cc two-stroke tomorrow. His mother died after an illness and was buried this afternoon. Fortunately, we can still look forward to the GP and series victories and especially who occupies the top 3 in the final standings. The fact that the entire top 3 does not appear at the start for the last GP of the season is unique. A place in the top three guarantees a significant bonus, so it makes sense that Bobryshev and Nagl will do everything they can to reach that top 3! The other places in the top 10 are also far from certain. No fewer than 5 riders from the current top 10 will not ride tomorrow, if Nagl drops out he will be the sixth. Riders in the top 10 who can still climb the rankings are in bold.
