Dutch MXoN Team announced.
The Dutch team for the Monster Energy MX of Nations has also been announced. National coach Leon Giesbers has chosen Jeffrey Herlings (open) on the KTM SX-F 350, Marc de Reuver (MX1) and Donny Bastemeijer (MX2).
Despite his crash in Loket, De Reuver is expected to be fit enough to defend the Dutch colors on September 18. The injured Glenn Coldenhoff will be replaced in MX2 by Donny Bastemeijer, mainly due to his good results in the last EMX2 competitions. Wastemeijer even managed to win in Lommel. In order to arrive at the start of the MX of Nations as fit as possible and to build on the group feeling that is so important in this nations competition, the Dutch team will go to France at the end of August for a two-day training camp. The Netherlands last participated in the MX of Nations (Italy) in 2009 and reached 19th place.
